Tehran (IP) - Hamed Lak, the goalkeeper of Iran's Persepolis football team, won the title of the best goalkeeper in the AFC poll to select the best goalkeeper of the 2020 Asian Champions League in the western region.

Iran Press/Iran news: The website of the Asian Football Confederation has launched a poll to select the football team for the West Asian region, which is looking for the best goalkeeper in the first step.

Five goalkeepers from Iran's Persepolis football team, Saudi Al-Nasr, Saudi Al-Taawon, UAE's Shabab Al-Ahly, and Qatar's Al-Sadd were present in the poll.

At the end of the poll, which was attended by 217,743 people, Hamed Lak came in first with 97% of the vote, and Brad Jones came in second with 2%.

Hamed Lak has conceded just two goals in seven matches, none of those from open play, and the 29-year-old has been a huge part of the Tehran giants march to the 2020 AFC Champions League final.
