Baharvand: Iran never seeks to hide the details of Ukrainian plane crash

Tehran (IP) - Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for International and Legal Affairs Mohsen Baharvand noted that Tehran never seeks to hide the details of the Ukrainian plane crash and infringe the rights of the families of the victims.

Iran PressIran News: According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohsen Baharvand, Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal Affairs and International Affairs, attended the second round of talks on the crash of a Ukrainian plane held between Iran and Ukraine on Tuesday, along with the families of the victims of  PS752 flight of Ukrainian Airlines, noted: "Iran's diplomatic apparatus in coordination and cooperation with all relevant institutions will use all its capabilities and efforts to pursue the rights of victims."

While expressing sympathy and condolences to the families of the survivors, Baharvand, promised to hold a meeting between the families of the victims and Iranian judicial officials to inform the families of the victims about the judicial process of the incident and answer possible questions and ambiguities about the accident.

The second round of talks on the Ukrainian plane crash between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Ukraine was held on Monday chaired by Mohsen Baharvand and attended by a Ukrainian delegation headed by the Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister  Yevgeny Yenin began in Tehran.

On January 8, a Boeing 737 belonging to Ukrainian Airlines en route from Tehran to Kyiv crashed near Tehran following a human error, killing all 176 people on board, including passengers and crew. 147 passengers on the plane and the rest. They were citizens of Ukraine, Sweden, Canada, Afghanistan, and the United Kingdom.
