Ambassador Int'l community should face real threats

Iran's ambassador to Russia called on countries to adhere to international laws as a prerequisite for global security.

Iran PressEurope: Iran's ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, wrote on his Twitter page on Monday: "Unilateralism and ignoring the interests of others in international relations will prevent countries from collectively confronting emerging threats that require solidarity and synergy."

Jalali stressed: ‌"The time has come for the international community, far from sanctions, discrimination, and hypocrisy, to focus its efforts on confronting the real threats that have endangered human life."

The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Russia added: "One of the important functions of diplomacy is to achieve a common denominator of interests and threats. JCPOA is the result of dialogue in diplomacy. It shows countries' ability to address each other's concerns through respect, dialogue, and mutual understanding in good faith, free from the use of force, threats, and sanctions."
