Russia registers 14922 new coronavirus deaths

Russia confirmed 14,922 new Covid-19 cases Saturday, bringing its official number of cases to 1,384,235.

Iran Press/Europe: Russia resumed flights with Serbia and Cuba on Oct. 15 and will resume flights with Japan from Nov. 1, the RBC news website reported, citing Russia's air transport agency Rosaviatsia.

Starting Oct. 19, Muscovites will be required to register their phone numbers before they can enter bars and nightclubs in order to control the spread of coronavirus, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced Thursday. People will be required to scan a QR code or send a text message to a designated number when entering a bar or club after midnight.

In the surrounding Moscow region, all nighttime entertainment after midnight will be prohibited starting Oct. 17.

Globally, over 39,655,00 people have been infected while 1,110,248 have succumbed to the virus. Also, 29,694,727 people have recovered so far.
