Iran Press/ Iran News: In a message congratulating the re-election of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani expressed confidence that comprehensive Tehran-Dushanbe relations would be further expanded to ensure common interests and strengthen regional peace and stability.
In a congratulatory message to Tajik President on Monday, Hassan Rouhani said, "I sincerely congratulate you on your re-election as President of Tajikistan."
The President added: "I am confident that in the new term of your responsibility, the comprehensive relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Tajikistan will be further expanded in order to ensure common interests and strengthen regional peace and stability, taking into account the cultural and historical commonalities of the two friendly countries."
