Iran Press/Iran News: General "Yahya Hosseinkhani", the border commander of West Azarbaijan province of Iran, said on Saturday: "Sasan Amirkhani" was martyred in an ambush and monitoring of the borderline during a clash with smugglers.
The length of the borders of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the province of West Azarbaijan is about 967 km; the province shares borders with the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan and Turkey to the north and Turkey and Iraq to the west.
