News sources reported that at least five other White House staffers were infected with the Coronavirus among them Stephen Miller, a top Trump aide, tests positive for the virus.

Iran PressAmerica: Bloomberg correspondent Jennifer Jacobs tweeted Tuesday night that "at least five" White House staffers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 disease.

Also, McEnany and her two deputies, Chad Gilmartin and Karoline Leavitt, are among at least 18 people in the White House or connected to Trump’s reelection campaign or to recent White House events, who have tested positive for Covid-19 since late last week.

The outbreak in the White House, which has extended to some lawmakers on Capitol Hill, has raised concerns in the city that surrounds it. Washington, D.C., which has managed to bring infection rates down in recent weeks through preventive laws and high rates of compliance, has almost no control over the federal government.

The city reported 105 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, the highest number since June 3.

Donald Trump was admitted to Walter Reed Hospital on Friday with a positive COVID-19 test. He was released from the hospital on Monday and returned to the White House.

The United States currently tops the world in both the number of people infected with the coronavirus and the number of deaths caused by the virus.

The US government, and in particular President Donald Trump, has been widely criticized for its irresponsibility in spreading the Coronavirus in the United States.
