Tehran (IP) - The sixth phase of distribution of livelihood packages by the staff of the Veterans and Disabled Sports Federation of Iran was carried out.

Iran PressIran News: Concurrent with the 40th day of Imam Hussein's martyrdom anniversary (AS), the sixth phase of distribution of livelihood packages of the 'Youthful Effort and pious help' exercise by the officials and employees of the Veterans and Disabled Sports Federation was held on Tuesday in Tehran.

The President of Iran Sports Federation for the Disabled Shervin Asbaqian, said at the ceremony that 'pious help' is people-oriented in nature, and athletes are involved in this mission, which aims at helping those whose lives have been affected by the coronavirus.

During the event, the deputy minister for sports, Abdolhamid Ahmadi, said that the Veterans and Disabled Sports Federation is tied to the names of martyrs, and veterans and the spiritual atmosphere prevails in this federation which is one of the advantages of this federation.

The 'Youthful Effort and pious help' exercise is planned to support the families of veterans and the disabled affected by the outbreak of coronavirus.
