Chaharmahal (IP) - Gandoman wetland is one of the top 10 bird-watching wetlands in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, southwest of Iran.

Iran Press/Iran News: Every year, Gandoman Wetland hosts a diverse range of migratory birds that often migrate to here in spring and autumn.

Gandoman wetland is also registered in the list of wetlands of international importance.

Every year in autumn, about 35 species of migratory birds are gathered in Gandoman Lagoon.

The marbled duck is a rare and endangered one that is seen in Gandoman lagoon.

The area is about 1200 hectares, and the height of the wetland from the sea level is above 2219 meters.

Gandoman wetland is located near Gandoman city in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province and is one of the important tourist destinations in southwestern Iran.
