Iran Press/ Iran News: COMSTECH is an abbreviation for the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation's (OIC) Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation for the promotion and cooperation of science and technology activities among the OIC member states.
The award has been given by the OIC every two years to outstanding individuals who have made a significant contribution to the science or have a patent.
