Iran Press/ Iran News: Speaking at a Meeting of Government's Economic Coordination Headquarters on Tuesday, Hassan Rouhani stressed: "All administrative, judicial and political barriers to production and investment must be removed, and the investment must be facilitated by amending procedures and laws."
Rouhani added: "All regulations that create barriers should be amended so that investors can move easily and, in the shortest possible time, be able to do things related to your investment."
After examining the consequences of delays in providing foreign investors' foreign exchange, the president said the government seeks to remove the unnecessary and cumbersome barriers for foreign investors as part of the government's efforts, stating: "Considering the high importance of investment security, the government needs to work with other relevant bodies, including the parliament, to remove legal obstacles to investment security."
Rouhani emphasized attracting the funds of Iranians living abroad, saying: "In the current situation where the sanctions imposers make all-out efforts to put any kind of pressure, the interest of compatriots abroad to invest in Iran is a great opportunity that should be supported."
