Special Envoy of Iran's FM for Afghanistan consults Uzbek, German officials

Afghanistan (IP): The Special Envoy of Iran's Foreign Minister for Afghanistan, Mohammad Ebrahim Taherianfard spoke by telephone with the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the German Envoy to Afghanistan.

Iran PressAsia: Speaking to the Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan on Monday, Mohammad Ebrahim Taherianfard supported the idea of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev that the United Nations should pay more attention to the issue of Afghanistan and create an appropriate mechanism for it.

He also discussed the intra-Afghan peace talks in a separate telephone conversation with the German envoy to Afghanistan and stressed the need for peace and stability in the country.
