Tehran (IP) - The spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari said on Wednesday in her presser that so far, 432,798 people in the country have definitely been infected with the coronavirus, and 365,846 of the total infected people have recovered and been discharged from hospitals.

Iran Press/Iran news: According to Sima Sadat Lari, definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 23, 2020, in the country, 3,605 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed, out of whom 1,594 of patients were hospitalized.

The Spokeswoman said that in the past 24 hours, 184 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 24,840 people have lost their lives in the country to date.

3,948 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

"So far, around 3,828,330 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted," the Health Ministry spokeswoman noted.

According to the spokeswoman, the Provinces of Tehran, Isfahan, Qom, East Azerbaijan, South Khorasan, Semnan, Qazvin, Lorestan, Ardabil, Khuzestan, Kermanshah, Gilan, Bushehr, Zanjan, Ilam, Khorasan Razavi, Mazandaran, Alborz, West Azerbaijan, Markazi (Central Province), Kerman, North Khorasan, Hamedan, and Yazd are in red.

"Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Hormozgan, Fars, and Golestan provinces are also on alert," she concluded.
