Tehran (IP): Head of Iran's Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs said that the country's demand from Saudi Arabi regarding the Mena disaster is still ongoing.

Iran PressIran News: Delivering speech in White Tulips Conference to commemorate Mena martyrs, Saeed Ohadi said that the heinous crime of the Saudi rulers was unprecedented.

"We have passed tough days, and many people martyred while they had not finished their Hajj rituals", he added.

Referring to the wise behavior and speech of the Leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei during those days, Ohadi stressed that Iran was the only country that could manage the return of all dead bodies to the county. This is while 40 of the martyred were buried in Mena due to their families’ agreement to outcry the crimes committed by the Saudi regime concerning the disaster.

Ohadi went on to say: "Our demands from Saudi Arabia will not stop, a new series of correspondence has started since three months ago, and according to the leader's remarks, Mena disaster should not be forgotten."

September 23 (second of Mehr) will be called “Mena Martyrs” day in calendars.

At the end of the ceremony, the families of Mena disaster's martyrs, attending the ceremony, were honored.

The same ceremony was held in other provinces of Iran at the same time via video conference.

The tragedy on 24 September 2015 caused by the criminal mismanagement of Hajj affairs by Saudi Arabia that led to the death of thousands of Guests of God, including over 500 Iranian men and women, but the memories of the wounds inflicted on the Ummah by the Wahhabi regime, remain fresh.
