Trading over 637 thousand tonnes of Commodities on IME

Tehran (IP) - During weekdays ending up to September 17, 2020, while over 637,597 MT (Metric tonne) of commodities worth over 1,595 million USD were traded on the Iran Mercantile Exchange.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 293,318 MT of various products worth close to 966 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 256,256 MT of steel, 6,400 MT of aluminum, 4,140 MT of copper, 120 MT of molybdenum concentrates, 12 MT of precious metal concentrates, 25,390 MT of zinc ingot 1,500 MT of coke as well as 5 kg of gold bullion were traded by customers.

The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 337,269 MT of different commodities with a total value of 629 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 72,200 MT of VB feed stock, 110,601 MT of bitumen, 68,694 MT of polymer products, 42,229 MT of chemical products, 43,990 MT of lube cut oil, 1,705 MT of insulation, 2,301 MT of base oil, 150 MT of argon as well as 5,050 MT of sulfur were traded.

Furthermore, 6,510 MT of commodities and a commercial real estate were traded on the same trading floor.
