South Africa says supports Palestinian cause firmly

In a telephone conversation with his Palestinian counterpart Riyad al-Maliki on Friday, South African Foreign Minister, Naledi Pandor emphasized his country's support for the Palestinian people and their cause.

Iran PressAfrica:  South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor stated in the phone call that her country will support the Palestinian cause until the establishment of an independent Palestinian state and the end of the Israeli occupation.

Riyad al-Maliki also referring to the compromise between the rulers of the UAE, Bahrain, and the Zionist Regime in this telephone conversation, said: "The fact that some Arab countries succumbed to the dictates of US President Donald Trump means that they have accepted to become a tool to serve Benjamin Netanyahu."

Contrary to the Palestinian people's aspirations, the UAE and Bahraini foreign ministers signed an agreement to normalize relations with the Israeli regime last Tuesday in the presence of US President Donald Trump.

The UAE and Bahrain's attempt to normalize relations with the Zionist Regime has been widely criticized in the Islamic world.

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) called the agreement a 'dangerous' deal and a 'free reward' given by the UAE and Bahrain to the Israeli regime for its crimes against the Palestinians.

In recent months, the normalization of relations between some Arab regimes in the region and Israel has intensified.

The Arab regimes are trying to normalize relations with Israel, while the Israeli regime has been occupying many Arab-Islamic areas for years in addition to repressing the Palestinians.
