Pars 1, Most advanced Iranian satellite has been completed

Tehran (IP) - The Minister of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Mohammad-Javad Azari Jahromi announced that the final tests of the Pars satellite as the most advanced indigenous Iranian satellite are being done.

Iran PressIran News: The exhibition "Indigenization of advanced equipment of the National Information Network" opened in Tehran on Monday.

The ICT Minister Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi said at a ceremony held to unveil the achievements in the field of technology in the exhibition that the tests of "Pars One" satellite are being finalized.

Azari Jahromi said: "Pars One is the most advanced satellite ever was made in the country, and the head of the Space Research Institute announced the completion of tests and its delivery."

He said that the satellite will be delivered to the Iranian Space Agency next week, noting that from now on, researchers at the Iranian Space Research Institute will focus on building the "Nahid 2" telecommunications satellite.

Pars Satellite is one of the critical projects of the Iran Space Research Institute and one of the imaging satellites that make it possible to take images at night.
