Iran Press/ Iran News: In Reaction to the Doha talks, Assistant Iranian Foreign Minister and Director General of West Asia at Iran's ministry of foreign affairs Rasoul Mousavi stated in a Twitter message, “Yes, there is no military solution to the Afghan crisis, but it must be acknowledged that the political solution is not to pursue the same goals pursued militarily. The political solution is forgiveness and consensus in the National Interests.”
The first round of Intra-Afghan peace talks began on Saturday between the Afghan government and the Taliban in the Qatari capital Doha.
