Iran Press/ Asia: Hassan Darvishvand, Iran's Consul General in Quetta, and Abdul Waheed Marwat, Pakistan's Balochistan Customs Director, discussed ways to develop Iran-Pakistan trade relations, especially in the neighboring border provinces.
Referring to the historical ties and deep cultural similarities between Iran and Pakistan together with the will of high-ranking officials of the two countries to increase trade relations between the two countries, the Iranian Consul General in Quetta said: "By controlling the spread of the coronavirus, trade between the two countries is normalizing," he said.
Referring to the need to increase working hours on the Pakistan-Iran border, the Balochistan customs chief said: "The economies of the two countries are complementary."
"The government of Pakistan considers the development of relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran as a friendly and brotherly country as one of the priorities of its foreign trade policy," Abdul Wahid Marwat stressed.
