Tehran (IP) - The Iranian and Swiss foreign ministers reviewed the latest developments in bilateral, regional, and international relations, including issues related to Syria, Yemen, trade relations between Tehran and Bern, and the Swiss financial channel.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis also met in Tehran on Monday to discuss the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and hostile policies of the US aimed at sabotaging Iran's normal political relations and foreign economy.

During the meeting, Zarif expressed satisfaction with the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Iran and Switzerland and praised the country's efforts to improve bilateral relations, while returning to normal foreign trade as an important priority for Iran and the world.

Referring to the historical relations between Bern and Tehran, the Swiss Foreign Minister emphasized Switzerland's commitment to JCPOA and the expansion of relations in all dimensions.
