Republic of Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has received the newly-appointed ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan Abbas Mousavi.

Iran Press/Asia: Seyyed Abbas Mousavi has presented a copy of his credentials to the Republic of Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs on Monday.

During the meeting, Bayramov congratulated the new Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to work in Baku and wished Mousavi success in this new responsibility.

Various aspects of bilateral relations between Iran and Azerbaijan have been discussed during the meeting. The parties conducted an exchange of ideas around further development and deepening of relations between the two countries.

Mousavi arrived in Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on August 21, 2020 and began his activity as the new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to this country.
