Tehran (IP) - The head of Iran Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Mojtaba Zonnour on Thursday called US Secretary of States's latest trip to Arabic countries as continuation of US officials travelling for begging.

Iran PressIran News: Mojtaba Zonnour said on Thursday that the nations of the region are vigilant, adding: "The presence of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in the region and his meeting with the rulers of some Arab countries in the Persian Gulf, which is aimed at supporting the Zionist regime and weakening the Muslim nations of the region, will certainly fail."

Zonour called Pompeo's visits a form of travel and begging by US officials, a sign of US weakness and the failure of White House's regional power.

The US Secretary of State began his regional tour of some Arab countries last Monday as possible options for normalizing relations with the Zionist Regime and initially left for occupied Palestine.

Pompeo also traveled to Sudan, Bahrain, and the UAE to meet with officials of those countries.

The US Secretary of State arrived in Oman today (Thursday) to continue his travels and meet with  Haitham bin Tariq.

US President Donald Trump is now focusing all his efforts on normalizing relations between the Arab world and Israel so that he can use this as a trump card in the upcoming US presidential election.   207
