Iran's Ambassador to China, Mohammad Keshavarzzadeh has said that the United States has never been so isolated in the UN Security Council.

Iran Press/Asia: Iran's ambassador to China Mohammad Keshavarzzadeh in response to the international community's opposition to Washington's activation of Snapback, stressed that the United States has never been so isolated in the UN Security Council.

Mohammad Keshavarzzadeh said on Saturday that China's positions on international issues, including JCPOA and countering US unilateralism, is commitment and responsibility. Keshavarzzadeh added that China, unlike the United States, is not abusing its power to violate international law and regulations.

The United States has put the snapback on its agenda after its proposed UN Security Council resolution extending Iran's arms embargo has been rejected. Referring to the US withdrawal of JCPOA, other permanent members of the Security Council have stated that the United States does not have the legal authority to activate the snapback.   104/207
