Hormozgan (IP) - Deputy Minister of Customs for Exports and Transit of Hormozgan Province of Iran said that this year, the rial value of non-oil exports in Hormozgan Province has increased by 13%.

Iran PressIran News: Mehdi Saeedi said on Friday that in the current year, more than 11.196 million tons of products were exported from Hormozgan's ports.

The main part of the goods includes minerals, foodstuffs, and agricultural products exported to the Persian Gulf countries, as well as China and India, Saeedi explained.

He pointed to Iran's presence in such regional treaties as Eurasia Treaty and the demand of the member states for increasing trade exchanges with Iran and promised that the country will witness a further boost in its exports next year.  

Over 40 percent of Iran's marine exports are carried out from the ports of Hormozgan Province, south of the country, according to the customs official.    207
