Iran Press/ Asia: The Afghan Army announced on Friday that 90 Taliban members had been killed in Balkh, Faryab, Jawzjan, Sar-e-Pul, and Kunduz provinces.
According to the report, 42 other Taliban members were wounded in the clashes.
The Afghan Army did not mention any casualties of its forces in the clashes.
The clashes come as the Afghan government and the Taliban have agreed to begin talks, but the exact time is yet to be known. 207/219
