Defense Minister: Iran has no problem to produce strategic weapons

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Defense Brigadier General Amir Hatami said on Tuesday that Iran will have no problem to produce strategic arms due to the existence of different infrastructure.

Iran PressIran News: With the members of Iran's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament visiting the exhibition on Iran's defense ministry's achievements on Tuesday, Brigadier General Hatami in a meeting with them urged that Iran's Ministry of Defense is going to continue its path of strengthening the national security as well as maintaining the power of deterrence.

Referring to the existing capacities and infrastructure of the Ministry of Defense of Iran in meeting the defense needs of the country, Brigadier General Hatami stated: "The Ministry of Defense of Iran is ready to help the economic and non-military sectors through its defensive knowledge in the year named Surge in Production."

"Mojtaba Zonnnouri", Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament also said in the meeting that regarding cyber and electronic war, missiles, ground, sea, and air, various works have been done to maintain and improve Iran's deterrence power.

Zonnnouri also pointed to the achievements of Iran's defense industry in the field of bioterrorism and modern warfare, stating that sanctions have led to growth, prosperity, and the realization of the slogan "We can" in Iran's defense industry.
