Tehran (IP) -The Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces said the staff and equipment of two field hospitals of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, and the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) are ready and this equipment will be sent when the Lebanese government announces the need.

Iran Press/Iran News: Answering the question of Iran Press on the sidelines of the first meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Holy Defense Research Institute of Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani on Thursday, Maj. Gen. Mohammad Bagheri referred to the explosion in the Beirut Port, saying the staff and equipment of two field hospitals of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, and the IRGC are ready and this equipment will be sent when the Lebanese government announces the need.

While offering his condolences to the Lebanese people and government over the death of a number of its citizens following the explosion in the Beirut Port,  the Iranian top general said that Iran will provide any assistance that Lebanon needs in rebuilding the destructed areas of the Beirut Port.

Senior military commanders of Iran attended the first meeting of the martyred Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani Holy Defense Research Institute's Board of Trustees on Thursday, including the Chief Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army Maj. Gen. Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, and the Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami.

This research institute has started its work since last year with new changes and structure.
