We are ready to help Lebanese people: Iranian Army Commander

Tehran (IP) - Chief Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi stated that the army is ready to help Beirut over the recent explosion.

Iran Press/Iran news: Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi said: “We are ready to provide any assistance to the Lebanese people and government."

"I offer my condolences to the Lebanese people, government and Secretary-General of Hezbollah on the tragic explosion in the port of Beirut that killed and injured many Lebanese citizens,"  Chief Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi noted.

He further added: "On behalf of the staff and army, while expressing my condolences to the victims and the honorable people of Lebanon, its government, and Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, we are ready for any kind of humanitarian aid, including the dispatch of medical staff, a mobile hospital, medical equipment and other needs of the people affected by this tragic incident.”
