Spokesman for the Guardian Council, Abbasali Kadkhodaei

Tehran (IP) - The spokesman for the Guardian Council of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Thursday warned the US President and other American officials not to interfere in Iran's internal affairs.

Iran PressIran news: "What is expected of an independent judiciary system in Iran is the proper implementation of penal law and the persecution of convicts," Abbasali Kadkhodaei, the spokesman for Iran's Guardian Council, tweeted on Thursday.

Kadkhodai added: "Mr. Trump, you and other American officials should be tried for countless crimes against the freedom people of Iran before and after the Revolution, Butt out."

The spokesman for the Guardian Council warned Trump and US officials highlighting: "Stop interference! Let the American people breathe!"

US President Donald Trump recently expressed concern about the possible execution of some convicts for committing criminal actions in November 2019 riots.

He tweeted messages in English and Persian on Wednesday, trying to attribute the executions to the November 2019 'demonstrations'.

On February 20, the US in its illegal campaign of imposing maximum pressure policy and in an interventionist move placed five members of the Guardian Council of the Islamic Republic on the sanctions list.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi called sanctioning of members of the Guardian Council of the Iranian Constitution as the boycott of the guardian of democracy and the rights of the people.

On July 8, The Guardian Council Spokesman Abbasali Kadkhodaei in a Twitter message stressed the need to counter US expansionism and unilateralism.  207/205
