Minsk (IP) - The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Minsk and the Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus emphasized the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the agricultural sector.

Iran Press/Europe: Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Minsk Saeed Yari, and, Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, Ivan Krupko met on Wednesday to discuss the ways to expand cooperation in the agricultural sector and reviewed methods to increase trade in agricultural, horticultural, fisheries and aquatic products. 

During the meeting, Krupko invited the Iranian Minister Agriculture Jihad to participate in the International Exhibition of Agricultural Products, which is scheduled to be held from 22 to 26 September 2020 in Minsk.

It was also agreed that the second meeting of the "Agricultural Cooperation Working Group" between Iran and Belarus will be held as soon as possible.

The first meeting of this working group was held in October 2017 in Tehran.
