Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs said that the joint committee of the Industries Commission of Iran's parliament and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be formed with the aim of encouraging non-oil exports.

Iran PressIran news: Mohammad Javad Zarif told reporters on Tuesday after attending the Industries Commission of Iran's parliament: "Today, a very good, specialized and working discussion session was held for economic diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for nearly three hours with the efforts, challenges and tasks of the ministry in this area were also outlined."

He added: " The lawmakers in the commission explained very good suggestions and cases. the most important thing that was done in this meeting, at the suggestion of the chairman of the commission, was to form a working committee of the economic department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the responsibility of the economic deputy and the commission to encourage exports."

"The purpose of this committee is to open non-oil export routes," he said.

Zarif went on to say that a good joint meeting had already been held with the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee; adding: "In today's meeting, very good discussions took place and we hope to continue this method as a method of continuous cooperation with the 11th parliament."  207/216
