Iran Press/ Iran news: The event is graced by the presence of ambassadors from Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Bolivia, as well as Iran's Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, and numerous merchants and producers.
According to Iran Press, approximately 80 booths have been set up to showcase pomegranates and rural products for both locals and tourists. Among these booths, 15 are dedicated to displaying handicrafts, featuring the works of 45 Iranian artists.
Iran's most commercially harvested pomegranate cultivars include Sweet Alac, Sour Alac, Sour Malas, Sweet Black, Sour Summer, Sour White Peel, Sweet Saveh, Black Peel, Sweet White Peel, Agha Mohammad Ali, Sweet Shahsavar, Robab, Yousef Khani, and Sweet Aghdaei.

Saveh city boasts around 10,000 hectares of pomegranate orchards that not only cater to domestic demand but also contribute to exports in certain countries. Approximately 25 percent (40 thousand tons) of the pomegranates produced in Saveh are eligible for exportation.
The festival has obtained a registration certificate and has been included in the list of Iranian tourism events.
