IP - The Israeli Military said its ground operation in the Gaza Strip is progressing, also targetting positions inside Gaza from air and sea.

Iran Press/ West Asia: The Gaza Strip has been under a 24-day Israeli genocide, which has claimed the lives of over 8,100 Palestinians.

Witnesses said Israeli tanks entered the edge of Gaza City and were seen in the Zaytun district on Monday morning, adding that they cut a key road from the north to the south of the besieged strip.

“They have cut the Salahedin road and are firing at any vehicle that tries to go along it,” a resident said.

Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari told reporters on Monday that Israel was "gradually moving ahead according to plan" in Gaza, but declined to confirm the location of the Israeli forces.

The Israeli military on Monday said it had struck over 600 targets of the Palestinian resistance over the past few days as it continued to expand ground raids in Gaza, killing dozens of fighters “who barricaded themselves in buildings and tunnels, and attempted to attack the troops."

Israeli airstrikes also continued unabated on Monday, targeting areas near Shifa and Al-Quds hospitals in Gaza.

According to the Israeli military, ground forces directed air force combat helicopters and drones to strike Hamas positions.

Meanwhile, Palestinian resistance thwarted several Israeli incursions into the Gaza Strip, as Israeli warplanes ramped up strikes against civilians in the besieged enclave.

Hamas says that the Israeli occupation used helicopters to evacuate the wounded and the dead from the battlefield, the group expecting that the Israeli occupation will try further incursions.

Also, Islamic Jihad said that the Israeli ground invasion had already started days ago and the enemy couldn’t secure military achievements.

Meanwhile, Israeli media reports sirens sound in Beersheba, Ofakim as Palestinian resistance says pounding Israeli settlements bordering Gaza.

Also, An al-Manar correspondent in south Lebanon reported that Israeli artillery shells were on the eastern outskirts of the Lebanese border town of Blida.
