Iran Press/ Asia: The ISPR, the media wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces, said that the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan district.
An intense fire exchange was triggered between the army troops and terrorists during the operation, resulting in the death of a terrorist, who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and killings of innocent civilians, according to the military.
According to Xinhua, weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorist, and the security forces have also launched a cleansing operation in the area to eliminate any other terrorists found in the region, the military added.
