Tehran (IP) - Hossein Amirabdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, during the meeting with the Secretary General of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue Forum (ACD) Pournchai Danviwatana, thanked the Secretary-General for his efforts and assured that the Islamic Republic of Iran will make every effort to promote cooperation and achieve the goals of the Forum in the upcoming period.

Iran PressIran news: In the meeting, which was held on Monday evening, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country emphasized the role of the Assembly Secretariat in supporting the advancement of cooperation and announced the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to help strengthen the Secretariat located in Kuwait as well as the cultural cooperation center of the Assembly located in Tehran.

Iran will hold the one-year chairmanship of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue Forum.

In this meeting, the Secretary General of the Asian Dialogue Forum (ACD), Pooranchai Danvivatana, presented a report on the activities of this forum and the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs during the preparation of the meeting of the foreign ministers of this mechanism on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

In this meeting, the General Secretary of the Assembly expressed his hope that during the presidency of the Islamic Republic of Iran, effective measures will be taken, including in line with the implementation of the ten-year vision document of the Assembly.
