Iran press/ Iran news: Ali Larijani, Speaker of Iran's parliament, in a meeting held on Tuesday 26 May with the deputies and general managers of the parliamentary executive bodies in the parliament, while thanking the services provided by the parliamentary vice president, called them as commendable in solving problems and interacting with members of parliament.
Iran's senior official considered it very important to inform the new parliament about the current appearance of the country adding "It is necessary to create a common understanding of the important issues of the country among the various bodies."
Parliamentary deputies should follow up on the remaining bills for consideration in the Eleventh Assembly.
Larijani also said that working with a parliament based on democracy requires an interactive and patient spirit.
"All the steps taken by the deputies and general managers of the parliament in this direction were to fulfill the will of the nation.", the speaker highlighted.
He added: "We have tried to pass the bills that were in the hands of the commissions until the end of the tenth parliament, and in the last two months a large number of them have been approved, but the Guardian Council has not yet commented on some of them. This should be done so that it can be achieved in the next parliament and the affairs of the country can be resolved.”
Addressing the parliamentary deputies, the head of the legislature Larijani said: "I acknowledge that you had good behavior in the tenth parliament and provided the conditions for consensus and empathy between the government and the parliament."
He stressed: "I believe that in the current economic, regional and international conditions, the three branches of powers should overcome the problems with maximum consensus, and therefore it is necessary to cooperate with the Parliamentary Research Center and the commissions in the face of sanctions and unemployment.
“Let’s agree that this will be the most important revolutionary action against American oppression," Larijani concluded.
