Ismail Haniyeh meets Iranian ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali

Moscow (IP): The head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Hamas Movement, Ismail Haniyeh, held a meeting with Iran's ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali in Moscow on Thursday.

Iran Press/Europe: The two officials highlighted the political developments in occupied Palestine, especially after the unveiling of the US-Zionist plan, "Deal of the Century".

Haniyeh and Jalali also emphasized the need for a unified approach by Islamic countries to counter the US-Zionist plan and the need for continuation of "resistance" as the only way for Palestinians to achieve victory and regain their own rights.

Ismail Haniyeh also appreciated Iran's support for the Palestinian cause. 

For his part, Iran's ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali emphasized the continued support of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Palestinian resistance and opposition to the so-called "Deal of the Century".

A Palestinian Islamic Movement (Hamas) delegation headed by Ismail Haniyeh, is currently visiting Moscow at the invitation of Russian officials.

Earlier Haniyah and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov discussed "the Deal of the Century" and the latest developments in the occupied territories.
