Sari (IP) - The commemoration ceremony of the 41st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution victory was held in Sari, the capital of Mazandaran province, northern Iran, with the great presence of various political factions and people.

Iran PressIran news: The people of Sari held rallies on Tuesday morning to commemorate the 41st anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution and renew allegiance with the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

The anniversary of the Islamic Revolution is celebrated on 22 Bahman (11 February). It commemorates the protests that led to the downfall of the Pahlavi dynasty and the installation of the Islamic Revolution headed by late Imam Khomeini.

The 41st anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution and the great march of the lovers of the Islamic system, held with the million-man participation of the people of Islamic Iran, is a celebration of the revolution and a manifestation of national solidarity.

The Islamic Revolution of Iran gained victory on February 11, 1979.
