Iran Press/Iran news: Out of total 35 theatrical works to be staged, 20, will fall into the competition and 15 into non-competition sections, respectively.
5 works will also be performed in the international section. Some 23 works of street theater also to be performed in the pre-determined places since they have always been welcomed by people.
In this regard, an official at the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance also said that Lieutenant General Soleimani will be commemorated during the opening and closing ceremonies of the 38th edition of Fajr International Theater Festival.
Shahram Karami added that theater artists will perform street theater in Tehran and other Iranian cities under the theme of “martyred Lieutenant General Soleimani” until the 40th day of the mourning period to pay tribute to the top commander and to denounce his assassination.
The secretary of 38th International Fajr Theater Festival, Nader Borhani Marand in a Message addressing the Iranian actors, actress and artists called the event as an opportunity for appreciating the diverse voices and various colorful manifestations of the art.
