The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei will lead Friday prayers at the Imam Khomeini Mossalla this Friday.

Iran Press/Iran News: The Leader will lead prayers on the occasion of the anniversary of the start of the uprising of the Iranian nation in 1978 which lead to the victory of the Islamic Revolution the following year.

In a statement on Wednesday, Tehran Friday Prayers Headquarters announced that the prayers sermon will be held at Tehran’s Mosalla, adding, “the Iranian nation will once again demonstrate their unity and magnificence,” on the eve of the Islamic Revolution anniversary.

This will be the first time that the Leader gives the Friday sermon in eight years.

The last time Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei personally delivered the Friday sermon was in January 2012, when he discussed events related to the Islamic Awakening movement and spoke in Arabic.

Iran's Leader official website released a video-clip for upcoming Ayatollah Khamenei participation as Tehran's Friday prayers leader.
