Kermanshah (IP) - Tekyeh Moaven al-Molk is a historical place and a symbol of the art and religion link located in Kermanshah, western Iran.

Iran PressIran News: Tekyeh Moaven al-Molk was built as a Shia mourning site. On 1 December 1975 Tekyeh Moaven al-milk was recognized as the National monument of Iran.

It is well known for its exclusive tiling, picturing Islamic era Ghazi (warrior), Battle of Karbala and Iranian kings and ancient sites such as Achaemenid kings and Persepolis.

It has three main parts: Hussainiya, Zaeynabiya, and Abbasiya. Museum of Anthropology of Kermanshah, and Clothes and Jewelry Museum of Kermanshah is located in Abbasiya.

Hussainiya has also been erected in Kermanshah to hold religious ceremonies and mourn ceremonies of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and commemoration of the Karbala uprising.

The tiles used in Tekyeh Moaven al-Molk are unique and have depicted many of the historical events of ancient and post-Islamic Iran.

Tekyeh Moaven al-Molk is located in the old district of Abshoran in Kermanshah and was built in 1902 by "Hussein Khan Mu'in al-Rayaa", known as Moaven al-molk.

Tekyeh Moaven al-Molk is also of interest to Iranian and foreign tourists for its beauty in Iranian art and architecture.
