A Tehran-Zahedan train was derailed near the southeastern city of Zahedan, the capital of Sistan-Baluchestan Province due to heavy rains and floodwater covering the rail tracks.

Iran Press/Iran News: Following heavy downpours and floodwaters inundating part of the rail tracks, three train wagons derailed bringing the Tehran-Zahedan passenger and freight train to a standstill on Saturday morning.

There are no reports of any injuries among the passengers in this incident.
