French man converts to Islam

A French man converted to Islam on Thursday in the Iranian province of Karaj, neighboring capital Tehran.

The French national of Algerian ancestry has converted to the holy religion of Islam and became a Shia Muslim on Thursday.

He pronounced Shahada by declaring belief in the oneness or tawhid of Almighty God and the acceptance of Mohammad (PBUH) as God's prophet before the Leader's representative in Alborz Province and Karaj Friday Prayer Leader in western Tehran.

The French Muslim said that he was influenced by Islamic divine teachings an Islamic education during his trip to Iran and preferred to become a Shia Muslim.

In recent years so many citizens non-Islamic countries of the world have converted to the holy religion of Islam after traveling to Iran.
