A senior military aid and advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said Iran is a divine country and enemies are unable to fight against the Iranian youth who follow the way of martyrs.

Iran Press/Iran news: Major General Seyyed Yahya Safavi made the remarks on Thursday in the ceremony of the commemoration of 1500 martyrs of Hurmuzgan Province, south of Iran, during the 8-year Iraqi imposed-war against Iran.

General Safavi referred to the Israeli and US regimes' support for the terrorist groups, the most notorious of which ISIS, saying that the regimes set the terrorists against the Iraqi and Syrian nations, killing them for 7 years.

But when the Syrian and Iraqi nations and governments asked for Iran's help, he continued, "the Iranians went there and trained them and finally defeated the ISIS and rescued Syria and Iraq; they learned the resistance model from Iran's Islamic resistance and its Leader."

General Safavi again pointed out to the 8-year imposed-war teachings and said that they are useful too against the current enemy's economic war imposed upon the country.

He noted that with the very spirit of hard-working and unity and obedience to the Leader, the Iranian nation and government must resist against the economic war to gain victory.

He asserted that the Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei is a non-second one among the world's leaders, who is a farsighted and kind man with an influential word, a divine gift for whom all must be thankful of God.
