Partial solar eclipse to darken Iran sky on Dec. 26

A partial solar eclipse will be visible in Iran on Dec. 26, 2019, peaking at 7:16 in the morning.

Iran PressIran news: For the capital of Iran, Tehran, 61 percent of the sun's surface will be covered by the moon, while residents in Kish and Qeshm Islands, in southern Iran, will experience a 86% eclipse.

The partial eclipse, where the moon touches the sun's edge, will begin at 6:10 am local time, which is below the horizon in Tehran, and end 8:23 am when the moon leaves the sun's edge. 207
