Iranian and Polish foreign ministers meet in Doha

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Polish counterpart Jacek Czaputowicz met in Doha, Qatar and negotiated on the issues of mutual interest.

Iran Press/Iran news:  The foreign ministers discussed bilateral and regional issues as well as major issues of mutual interest, said a news release on the Iranian Foreign Ministry's website.

Zarif left Tehran for Qatar on Saturday to participate in Doha Forum 2019. He is scheduled to deliver a speech and hold talks with his counterparts in Doha.

He met Iraqi National Security Advisor Falih Alfayyadh on the sidelines of the event and reviewed developments in Iraq, the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced.

Established in 2000, the Doha Forum is a platform for global dialogue on critical challenges facing the world. The 2019 forum is themed 'Reimagining Governance in a Multipolar World'.
