Iran Press/ Iran news: Of the 4,616 knowledge-based companies in Iran, 178 companies are active in the production of medical supplies, devices, and equipment.
The products of these companies are exported to other countries besides Iran's domestic market, Iran Press reported.
Iran's medical equipment is currently exported to 40 countries.
So far, different types of implants, instruments, equipment intended for therapeutics, monitoring and diagnostics, anesthesia machines, and disinfectants have been developed by Iran's knowledge-based companies.
