Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met with a group of media directors and members of think tanks of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Thursday to discuss different dimensions of the relations between the two countries, as well as regional and international topics.

Iran press/ Asia: Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Baku yesterday to attend the NAM (Non-Aligned Movement) Ministerial Committee. 

In the NAM ministerial meeting, the document and the joint statement of the NAM (Non-Aligned Movement) summit were finalized and some regional and international issues were raised, reported Iran Press.

Zarif held meetings with the Iraqi and Serbian ministers of foreign affairs as well.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani arrived in Baku on Thursday to attend the 18th NAM summit on Friday.

The 18th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) will be held on October 25-26, preceded by the preparatory senior officials meeting on October 21-22 and the preparatory ministerial meeting on October 23-24.

NAM has 120 member-countries, 17 observer countries, and 10 observer organizations, and aims to uphold anti-war and pacifist principles against imperialism in all its forms. 207
