Hazem Qasem, Spokesperson of Hamas

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) rejected the Zionist regime's participation in the so-called Bahraini Maritime Security Conference as contradictory with the positions of the Arab nation.

Iran PressMiddle East:  Hamas Spokesman Hazim Qasim emphasized in a statement that countries which normalize relations with the Zionist regime are actually accomplice in the aggression against the Palestinian nation and sanctuaries, especially the al-Aqsa mosque.

"Attempts by some countries to portray the Zionist enemy as part of the region will never go its way, and the Islamic and Arab Ummahs continue to regard the regime as their main enemy," Qasim said.

Israeli media reported on Tuesday that an Israeli delegation is set to attend the so-called "Maritime Security Conference" to be held in Bahrain on October 21 and 22.

Earlier, the Saudi national football team traveled to occupied Palestine to normalize relations with the Zionist regime.
