Pakistani PM arrives in Iran 

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Tehran on Sunday in a bid to ease tensions in the region.

Iran Press/ Iran news: The Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan entered Iran on Sunday morning to meet Iranian top officials in a bid to mediate between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

In Tehran, Imran Khan would meet the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and Iranian President Hasan Rouhani.

Bilateral matters and important regional developments will be discussed during Imran Khan's second visit to Iran this year.

Pakistani PM arrives in Iran 

After the Iran visit, the prime minister will also pay a visit to Saudi Arabia as part of his efforts to bridge differences between Tehran and Riyadh.

Earlier, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif welcomed efforts for mediation with Saudi Arabia ahead of Prime Minister Imran Khan's visit to the country.
